Flexible connectors at vacuum pump and med air compressors.

I am accustomed to seeing flexible connectors at the POC of a compressor or vacuum pump package here in California.

NFPA requires them at the compressors/pumps themselves, but doesn't state a requirement at POC.

A new Beacon Medaes system is being installed without the flex connectors, and I wanted to ask if:

    A) Did I miss a requirement?

    B) Is it a seismic (California) requirement?

    C) Is it a Beacon Medaes requirement? (I have seen them supply flex connectors loose.)

    OR

    D) Just because I am used to seeing something doesn't make it a requirement....

    Thanks.

    Replying to my own post...

    Per MFG installation docs...

"All SPC systems have the necessary flex connectors for the air intake and discharge factory piped, and no further flex connectors are needed."
