Verified credentials

I was given information that joint commission has now started looking at the credentials of who’s doing the annual certification and their maintenance. This is the first I have ever heard of joint commission check credentials.

On another note off island I had the AHJ want to take a look at my credentials. When I show them my new card from one of the major credentialing organization the AHJ would not except it because it was not readily available that they could read. Luckily I had credentials from another major credentialing organization with me and my CMGV card.  My card had expiration date and the credentials I needed to do the work. You need to be aware to have the proper information with you and that the AHJ does not want to scan your card for information.

This doesn't bode well if you have one of the new NITC cards!  This is going to come up more and more.  Thx for sending the info Don!!!

We have also had an issue with the new cards with the QR code on them.  Our solution currently has been to screenshot the credential list within the app and add that into our reports.  This isn't ideal because if you have more than 5 credentials it will not display them but it's the best workaround we've found.  I've attached a sample PDF for you to see.

You can still use their NITC #'s to look up the credentials on the webpage with your phone or laptop.
