Pre-qualification for the verifier exam will require you to possess an approved, current 6030 credential. At registration, you must submit the test fee, a current insurance certificate, and digital photograph.

The test is 100 multiple-choice questions presented in closed-book format covering NFPA 99 (2005), ASSE 6000 Series, CGA Pamphlet V-1, V-5, G-4, C-7, and C-9. A minimum score of 85% is required to pass the exam. You will also be required to pass an oral exam testing your working knowledge.

Test equipment will be reviewed, and model/serial numbers will be recorded.
